Nico & Madeline’s Commitment to Reach

For almost two decades, Nico has been a consistent supporter of Reach for Resources, a dedication that runs in the family. His youngest sister, Tali, has been a loyal participant in several Reach adaptive recreation programs over the years. Nico’s involvement began in 2006 when he took a summer job with Reach’s Adaptive Recreation & Inclusion team following his junior year of high school. His dedication to the organization deepened over time, eventually leading to Nico joining the Board of Directors in 2013 and serving as its Chair from 2014 to 2016. Even after stepping down, Nico has continued to collaborate with Kate, Reach’s Executive Director and the board on various projects.

In 2021, Nico began dating Madeline, and their shared commitment to Reach quickly became evident. In 2022, Madeline started a new job that offered a unique cash benefit program, providing her with “fun money” to spend as she wished. With her background in nonprofit communications, Madeline understood the immense value and impact donations made on small, local nonprofits. Recognizing how important Reach was to Nico and the community, she decided to channel her “fun money” into monthly donations to the organization.

Having witnessed the profound impact Reach has on families and the broader community, Nico and Madeline are enthusiastic about supporting the organization with their monthly contributions. Their dedication ensures that Reach can continue its vital work, benefiting countless individuals and families to live, work, and play in their communities.
