Join Reach and Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark 40 incredible years of impact, inclusion, and community support!

After the ribbon is cut, stick around for a cozy celebration at the Reach office. Warm up with hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and tasty treats. Take a guided tour of our space, meet some of our amazing Reach employees, and learn about the work that makes our community stronger every day.

We’re excited to announce our 33rd Annual Bowl-A-Thon is heading to a new venue this year, AMF Southtown Lanes in Bloomington! Plus, we’re teaming up with Bowling for Buses to bring you one epic bowling fundraiser. It’s going to be an afternoon filled with strikes, spares, and plenty of good old-fashioned fun!

Join us for some friendly competition, lots of laughs, and quality time with friends. Whether you’re a bowling pro or just along for the fun, your participation will help us raise vital funds for Trail and our Adaptive Recreation & Inclusion programs. Together, we can create more opportunities for everyone to thrive!

Bowler ticket includes: t-shirt, two games of bowling, pizza, soda, dessert, live music, and prizes.

Lunch ticket includes: pizza, soda, and dessert.

We are excited to unveil our brand-new transportation service, Reach in Motion!

Reach in Motion empowers people to use county waiver funds for Lyft rides through a Lyft Pass, arranged by Reach’s Transportation Manager. Once your Lyft Pass is set up, you’ll enjoy the freedom to ride anywhere you need to go, without any out-of-pocket costs. All ride expenses are directly charged to your county waiver, making transportation hassle-free and accessible. Reach in Motion charges a $28 monthly fee for the service.

This innovative service is designed to enhance independence by breaking down transportation barriers, giving people greater access to their community and opportunities.

Reach in Motion support services include:
• Expert guidance in setting up the Lyft app and creating a account
• Assistance with utilizing waiver funds for Lyft Passes
• Monthly funding allocation for the Lyft Pass
• Basic troubleshooting with the Lyft Pass

We are excited to welcome Little Canada to our Inclusion Support Cities! Reach is contracted with over 18 local city parks and recreation departments to provide free inclusion staff support when a person with a disability requests additional accommodations. These staff members work together with coaches and instructors to blend in, providing the minimum support needed at any given time and encourage independence and skill building in all of the participants. Programs may include t-ball, dance, swimming lessons, science camp, skating, and many more!

Trail by Reach is our transportation service for adults with developmental disabilities living in Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Golden Valley, St. Louis Park, and Richfield.

We offer convenient and affordable transportation to recreation, leisure, and educational programs hosted by Adaptive Recreation & Learning Exchange (AR&LE) and Reach in these designated cities. Enjoy roundtrip rides for
just $2!

To qualify as a Trail rider:
• Be 21 years or older
• Live independently or semi-independently
• Reside in Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Golden Valley, Richfield or
  St. Louis Park
